LALI and TAL is dedicated to reducing unnecessary waste throughout the entire lifecycle of our products. We are proud to offer product, packing and shipping materials that are sourced from compostable, biodegradable, recyclable and plantable materials. 

Each order consists of four key elements:

• Shipping envelope
• Packing wrap
• Product(s) bottle
• Postcard

LALI and TAL tries to use the least amount of plastics, non-recyclable materials and excess packaging.

Eco-friendly tips:

Remove the shipping label and place in regular waste.

Recycle or compost the shipping envelope.

• The envelope is 100% biodegradable and made of kraft.
• The bubble cushioning wrap is made of PBAT and modified corn starch.
• The poly bubble mailers are certified by BPI and OK compost, and meet the standards of ASTM 6400 and EN13432.
• The envelopes are non-toxic, BPA-free and generate less carbon emissions than traditional plastic.

Recycle or compost the paper bubble wrap.

• The wrap is USA-made, biodegradable and curbside recyclable.
• The wrap produces 20 times fewer carbon emissions than plastic bubble wrap.

Reuse or recycle the glass bottle (remove the label and cap and place in regular waste).

Recycle the paper postcard.

• The postcard is made of 100% fully recyclable paper.
• The ink is water based and is safe to recycle.
• All electricity used to make this paper is matched with renewable energy credits from Green-e certified wind-power projects. 

LALI & TAL perfume oils are made with a blend of cosmetic grade:

• Natural fragrance oils 
• Essential oils
• MCT oil (fractionated coconut oil)

Everything is 100% pure oil (no alcohol, water or preservatives have been added to “cut” the fragrance). 

We do not add any: toxic chemicals, phthalates, parabens, sulphates, formaldehyde, benzene styrene, or synthetic dyes.

Each bottle has a stainless steel rollerball for easy application:

• Apply to pulse points
• Roll, don't rub
• Layer, mix, and match

Because the fragrances are 100% oils, the scents are more concentrated and intense than regular spray perfumes (which is about 80% water and alcohol) yet intimate to the wearer because they are applied to pulse points or hot spots (wrist, neck, behind the ears).

So they are perfect for those that are sensitive to regular spray fragrances or have people in their lives that are also sensitive to regular spray fragrances.

The bottle is perfect for travel or to throw in your purse or gym bag for easy reapplication. With multiple (2-3) reapplications throughout the day, one bottle should last around one year.

LALI and TAL perfume oils use a fractionated coconut oil commonly referred to as Coconut MCT Oil. 

MCT (Medium Chain Triglycerides) Oil is a liquid oil manufactured through the esterification of glycerol using medium-chain fatty acids isolated from natural sources.

Characteristics of our MCT carrier oil:

• Lightweight and nourishing oil
• Absorbs rapidly and leaves behind a silky but non-greasy feeling to the skin
• Colorless (or a very pale yellow in color) 
• Remains a liquid state at room temperature
• High resistance to oxidation and a long shelf life
• Does not interfere with the scent of aromatic blends
• Does not stain clothing
• Sourced from high quality coconuts from Indonesia and Malaysia

Note: LALI and TAL does not use a blend of coconut oil and palm oil (from palm kernel). We find that a blend, or palm oil as the carrier oil, is of lower quality and ideal for roll-on perfume oils. We source the highest quality, expeller pressed, refined coconut oil (from coconuts) for our products.

Perfume Oils

• Concentration: Perfume oils are highly concentrated, typically containing 15-30% fragrance oils.
• Application:  Applied directly to the skin or clothing using a rollerball, dabber, or by mixing with a carrier oil.
• Fragrance Release:  Perfume oils release fragrance slowly, providing a long-lasting scent that can last several hours.
• Advantages:  Offers more control over application, can be layered, and provides a stronger, more intense scent.
• Disadvantages:  Can be overpowering if used excessively, and may not be suitable for those with sensitive skin.

Perfume Sprays

• Concentration: Perfume sprays typically contain a lower concentration of fragrance oils, usually around 5-15%.
• Application:  Sprayed directly onto the skin or clothing using an aerosol can.
• Fragrance Release:  Perfume sprays release fragrance quickly, providing a strong, immediate scent that can last several hours.
• Advantages:  Convenient, easy to apply, and can be used on-the-go.
• Disadvantages:  May not provide as long-lasting a scent as perfume oils, and can be overpowering if used excessively.

If, however, there is an issue with your item, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Domestics and international orders are shipped via United States Postal Service (USPS) with $100 insurance, unless otherwise selected by the customer at the time of checkout.  

Upon shipping, the customer will receive an email with the tracking information for the package.  

If the tracking number indicates that the package was delivered and you do not have the package, please check with surrounding mailboxes and neighbors prior to contacting USPS. If you still cannot locate the package, please contact USPS for assistance as the package may be lost or stolen. Customers can contact USPS via phone at 800-ASK-USPS (800-275-8777) or at www.usps.com⁄help⁄claims and file a claim. Please also contact us, so we can pursue a claim with USPS on our end and resolve the situation as quickly as possible.

Once the package is with USPS and shipped, LALI and TAL no longer has control of the package.
